Ordinary Affects at the RISD Museum › 07.23.2017

Looking forward to being part of a day-long performance of Antoine Beuger’s “Gentle Traces of Transient Being” with Ordinary Affects alongside a host of nine other amazing musicians at the RISD Museum on July 23. The piece was written specifically for Ordinary Affects and this is the first time it will be performed in its entirety. Beuger is the founding member of the Wandelweiser collective, an international community of composers who create slow, quiet, intimate music of a minimal nature; the piece consists of discreet, intimate musical phrases in the manner of stanzas of a poem spread over long periods of time. 11am – 5pm | Free.
